Description

Tucked away from prying eyes, facing the Alps.

Some homes impress with their size. Others with their location. This one offers something even rarer: the feeling of being alone before the landscape.

Just 15 minutes from Crans-Montana and Sion, the capital of Valais, the property unfolds in the heart of over 3,000 m² of greenery, bordered by a stream and completely shielded from view. Behind this almost complete seclusion, however, lies a spectacular panorama of the Alps. A sanctuary, yet never a retreat from the world.

Built on terraces, the property hugs the slope and naturally faces the mountains. It offers approximately 825 m² of total living space, including nearly 685 m² for the main villa, complemented by two independent 2.5-room apartments. Nearly all of the rooms face the mountain peaks. From one level to the next, the landscape accompanies the house and becomes a familiar presence: upon waking in a bedroom, while sitting at a table, from a living room by the water, or even during a workout.

Here, privacy isn’t found behind walls. It’s experienced with the windows open.

This is undoubtedly what sets this property apart the most. Being able to open up the spaces wide onto the terraces, enjoy the pool, entertain around the pool house, or simply stay outdoors—all while maintaining that precious feeling of being at home, away from prying eyes.

The living spaces were designed in this same spirit of freedom. Spacious rooms provide ample room for gathering and entertaining, while the succession of levels naturally creates more intimate spaces. Two fully equipped open kitchens serve the main wings of the residence, complemented by a third outdoor kitchen to extend the day by the pool.

The pool house is one of the most striking examples of this design philosophy. Its large retractable glass walls slide open during the warmer months, blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors. In front of it, the infinity pool seems to extend the house into the landscape. The water, the garden, and the mountains thus merge into a single horizon.

The private spaces also engage in this same dialogue with the Alps. The residence features five bedrooms, four of which have en-suite bathrooms or showers.
The master suite, with its private panoramic terrace, spacious bathroom, and smoked-glass walk-in closet, offers the same sense of seclusion and space that characterizes the entire property. In the bathroom, the floor-to-ceiling window also opens onto the mountain peaks: taking a shower becomes a one-on-one encounter with the Alps.

The house was also designed so that everyone can find their place. A spectacular wine cellar, a fitness room, a billiards room, and several relaxation areas round out the living spaces. Two independent 2.5-room apartments allow for accommodating family, guests, or staff without ever encroaching on the privacy of the main residence. Two double garages, two single garages, and six outdoor parking spaces round out the property.

Entirely conceived and designed by an interior architect, the villa combines contemporary lines, fine materials, and warmer elements, notably its exposed beams. Offered fully furnished, it offers a rare harmony between architecture, decor, and the landscape.

But beyond its size, amenities, and panoramic views, it is perhaps the visual tranquility of this property that leaves the strongest impression.

Seeing almost nothing but nature.
Opening up your home without exposing yourself.
Living outdoors as if indoors.
And finding, almost everywhere, the Alps stretching out before you.

A luxury that has become rare: having space all around you, and the feeling that this space belongs only to you.
