  The heating is provided by an electric underfloor heating system for the ground floor and the upstairs bathroom, and by radiators in the bedrooms. A fireplace with ventilation outlets is used to feed the fire when you are present. For the year 2022, the costs amounted to CHF 400.- for the wood and CHF 3500.- for the electricity for the whole year. Three bedrooms have access to a south-east facing balcony. The land on the north and west sides of the chalet is currently in an area that is not suitable for building, so the end of the private driveway can be used as a parking space. The chalet is located at an altitude of 1200 meters. The owners have already planned a renovation of the exterior paintwork for mid-August this year.

  Les Mayens-de-Chamoson:
  
  For centuries, this region was a first summering area, a place where cattle owners would bring their animals for a spring stay around mid-May, and from there the cows would make their way to the higher alpine pastures of Loutze and Chamosentze. The Nordic center is located in the heart of the Tourbillon forest, in the middle of the Ovronnaz and Les Mayens-de-Chamoson tourist area. The cross-country skiing trails, which wind through forest paths, clearings and pastures, overlook the village of Les Mayens. There are trails for everyone. From there, hiking trails lead to Loutze. The Ovronnaz resort is a 5-minute drive away and is located at the foot of the Muverans mountains, with 150 km of hiking trails. In summer and winter alike, families will find plenty to enjoy with the Jorasse chairlift and the many activities that come with it. And of course, the famous thermal baths!
