La Forclaz, nicknamed “La Petite Coquette” by Guy Maupassant, is a small hamlet in the commune of Evolène that is located on the road to the Ferpècle valley.
The hamlet is at the foot of the Dent-Blanche and has some ski lifts.
Many seal skin and snowshoe routes start from this place, as do several hiking trails.
