Description
Valimmobilier SA is pleased to present to you: La Kaazelle – new eco-responsible development in the heart of the town of Monthey
This new construction project of a small building with 15 apartments is located just a stone’s throw from the town center, shops and schools, between two city parks in a green setting. This new building will be built by renowned local contractors in a mixed wood-concrete construction. It benefits from district heating to minimize the condominium charges. Each apartment has a loggia or a large terrace as well as a balcony.
Ideally located opposite a public park, this new development will offer you peace and quiet as well as optimal sunshine. The living areas are bright and very pleasant with large triple-glazed windows. The building is accessible to people with reduced mobility and will offer its future residents a most pleasant living environment.
To facilitate understanding of the project and to better visualize the spaces, a disassemblable 3D model is available at the Valimmobilier Chablais agency in Collombey. It offers a detailed and realistic visualization of the project from different angles, which helps to understand the volumes, spaces and atmosphere of the future construction.

Brief description of the project:
The project aims to reduce the carbon footprint of the buildings and limit the energy consumption of future residents. To achieve this, the choice was made to use materials derived from plant-based, bio-sourced or 100% recyclable resources, with the application of the latest insulation standards in force. Photovoltaic solar panels will be installed on the roof of building A, and a huge underground tank will collect rainwater, which will be used to water the ornamental vegetation and gardens. The wooden frame facades will be ventilated, the insulation will be blown in and the cladding will be made of solid wood panels. The balconies are made of prefabricated concrete with larch/natural wood posts and railings.
The living areas have a sanded screed floor that allows heat to be stored during the day and redistributed in the evening. The construction meets all the usual standards for mixed wood/concrete buildings (thermal, acoustic, structural and seismic standards, fire protection standards, accessibility for people with reduced mobility, etc.)
The project consists of a concrete base, housing a semi-underground parking area, on which a central distribution core is built, connecting three distinct volumes. The idea is to articulate the overall volumetry of the building in relation to the park in front of it. The building offers a reduction of one floor in the western part and two floors in the southern part.
These different heights provide roof terraces accessible to the apartments on the same floor. Each volume has at least a triple orientation to take full advantage of the site conditions.
In the underground car park, the width of the parking spaces provides two additional bike spaces on each parking space. Each parking space is pre-equipped to receive an individual electric charger (plumbing and necessary power supply provided, but not including power supply and charging stations). The price of the parking spaces varies between CHF 36,500 and 38,000 depending on the size of the parking space and its storage.
