Description

This small house is located on a plot of land in the agricultural zone, in the village of Gietji, near Stalden. It is ideally situated but can only be reached on foot, 10 minutes uphill. For goods there is a monorail which starts at the edge of the cantonal road. 

It is a 2-storey house. The water and sewage system is connected to the municipal system. There is no heating. The building is of mixed construction (wood/masonry). The roof is made of Eternit and stone slabs.

As the building is located in an agricultural zone, only maintenance work and minor extensions can be approved according to the Federal Office for Spatial Development.

The building is in great need of maintenance and can at most be used in summer.

Stalden

The village was first mentioned in history in the 13th century and is now an established housing estate. It lies 8 km south of Visp and is at the entrance to the tourist resorts of Zermatt, Saas-Fee and Grächen. The transport links to Visp, the St. Nicholas and Saas valleys are therefore excellent.

Due to its topographical location, Stalden is surrounded by nature and is known for its mild and dry climate. It is one of the places with the lowest rainfall in Switzerland, often with almost tropical temperatures. The climate ensures an early spring and short winters.
