Pour l'hiver 2012, Grimentz sera au bénéfice d'une jonction avec le splendide domaine skiable de Zinal par le biais d'un nouveau téléphérique, la longueur totale des pistes passant ainsi à 90 km.

Probably the most picturesque village & mountain resort of the Val d'Anniviers (Valais), Grimentz benefits from a splendid ski resort ( 45 km of pistes culminating at 2900 meters, to be doubled in 2012 thanks to the new junction with Zinal ), with breathtaking views that span accross the gorgeous alpine valley, the lovely villages and the 4000+ metre summits of the "Imperial Crown". The excellent resorts of Zinal, Saint-Luc, Chandolin and Vercorin are only minutes away. The city of Sierre is at 20 minutes, Sion at 30 minutes and Geneva airport is at a 2 hours drive. A train links the airport to the nearby city of Sierre.
